In the category of personal info, Nowicon gathers data like your name, email address, username, and password (if you create an account). Secondly, the payment info: if you buy something like a subscription or an icon, we collect billing info through third-party services like Stripe.

Thirdly, the device info includes browser type, device type, operating system, screen size, etc.
The usage data includes what you click on, which pages you visit, and how long you stay.
And lastly, the IP address and location help them understand where users come from and prevent fraud.

How We Collect Your Information

We collect your information from the following sources: when you create an account or use our interactive tools and services, when you provide information in forms, and also from surveys or questionnaires through the services. When you send us an email or contact us, we gather your information from there. Apart from this, your information is also automatically gathered when you accept cookies or use a location-based service, so we may receive information about your location as well.

Nowicon does care about your data, and we do not sell your data at all. All we do is share your data with our personally trusted partners, and the information does not identify any individual without restriction.

Also, with the authorities for email services and also similar to newsletters so you won’t miss any updates.

And if required, we are able to share your information with legal authorities as well if any court or legal matter arises.
We do not control the third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. Moreover, it is not allowed even for third parties to use your information anywhere else without asking you.

Your personal information is stored only as long as needed for service delivery or legal purposes. However, Nowicon cannot guarantee complete security due to the nature of internet data transmission. Users are highly encouraged to secure their own accounts by managing passwords wisely.

Public information shared on the website may be visible to others. For any concerns or details, users can contact our designated Data Protection Officer for privacy-related matters.

For how long do we keep data

Personal data is kept only as long as necessary for service use or legal obligations.

We keep your personal data for 13 months. After that, your data will be kept blocked for different periods of time.
We store data during the active relationship, for example, while you are using Nowicon. After the relationship ends, the data will be kept blocked for 5 years, during which user-related information (such as liability, IP address, and accounting data) is involved. Commercial emails are processed for 3 years after the last interaction or until an objection is raised.
Non-commercial inquiries are deleted after a response is provided.
Images are not retained.
Surveys are processed during the contractual relationship, unless an objection is raised.

Children’s Privacy

The services and websites Nowicon offers are not designed for children under 13, 16, or even 18 years old depending on the location and legal requirements. We do not knowingly collect, store, or use any personal information from minors. If any such data is accidentally collected, it is deleted immediately. Parents and guardians can contact the platform if they believe their children have submitted any important or sensitive information.

Children under 13 or 16 are not allowed to register. If they do, their information will be deleted. Parental consent is required. If data is collected without parental information, it will be removed as soon as discovered. Children under 16 in California may have additional privacy rights. How to access your personal information

You can access your account settings through the Settings menu. From there, you can make changes such as deleting or editing the personal information you have provided. Your personal information can be edited or updated at any time.

Personal Data Update

Please update Nowicon whenever you change your personal information. Be sure to press “Save Changes” so that your latest updates are applied. If, for example, you update your card details but forget to save them, it could result in financial issues.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have special rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regarding how their personal data is used, collected, and shared. If you are living in California, you can ask Nowicon for details about your personal information collected in the past 12 months, including what data was collected, where it came from, and who it was shared with. You also have the right to request deletion of your data and to opt out of any sale of your personal information. Even though the company states that we do not sell personal data, you still have the right to say “no.”
